Dopo
una specie di Odissea postale, finalmente mi sono arrivate le minias di MAK
della Slave2gaming.
Per
chi non conoscesse Ma.K., trovate qui una mia breve spiegazione di questa
fantastica opera del maestro Kow Yokoyama:
Tra
le varie tipologie di minias ho scelto di prendere quelle che vedete nella prima immagine.
La qualità di stampa è ottima e si vede soprattutto dai particolari. Era molto tempo che non prendevo in mano miniature di metallo e, per quanto la plastica sia fantastica per i dettagli, il "ferro" comunica una bella sensazione di "potere assoluto"! :D Tra l'altro queste minias sono stampate benissimo, hanno pochissimo materiale in eccesso da pulire.
Per quanto riguarda le dimensioni, dopo un discreto dibattito, l'amico Beppe, webmaster di Gundamdesign, righello alla mano ha concluso che la scala è circa 1/100. E sapete bene che 1/100 vuol dire MG di una certa ditta giapponese...
Qui mostro le dimensioni in fianco ad una SAFS 1/76:
Ho una grossa indecisione sulle dimensioni delle basette. Sempre Beppe ha suggerito di usare le 20mm per le suit e 40mm per i walker. Aggiungo che si potrebbero usare anche le classiche GW da 25mm e 32mm, tanto le regole del wargame lasciano libertà di utilizzo.
Per concludere devo dire che i ragazzi della Slave2gaming stanno facendo davvero un ottimo lavoro, c'è solo da capire quali altri kit produrranno...noi li vogliamo tutti ovviamente! :D
Among the various types of minias I have chosen to take the ones you see in the first image. The print quality is excellent and can be seen above all from the details. I have a big indecision about the size of the bases. Beppe also suggested using 20mm and 40mm. I add that the classic 25mm and 32mm GWs could also be used, so much so that the rules of the wargame leave freedom of use. To conclude, I must say that the guys at Slave2gaming are doing a really good job, we just have to understand what other kits they will produce...we obviously want them all! :D
